How He Found Out

The day I found out I thought about how I wanted to tell Jonathan. I was headed to the library and I thought I could get him a book. I found a perfect one entitled, "The Everything Father-To-Be Book." On the way back to the house I stopped by Target and found a cheap onesie that said, "Mommy and Daddy's Alarm Clock." If the book was not enough then the outfit should do it. We went out that evening on a date and it was really hard not to spill the beans. When we got home I sat Jonathan down and told him to close his eyes because I got him a book at the library and it was a surprise. I placed the book in his hands and told him to open his eyes. He stared at it and looked very confused. He later told me he was thinking, "Man, Heather has got baby fever bad!" After a few more moments he finally said, "You're pregnant?" Then he sat on the couch stunned and making weird faces. I think he gets more and more excited as time passes.
