Valentine's Celebration

Jonathan and I had to celebrate Valentine's Day on the 13th because he forgot that on the 14th he had basketball practice with the boys at church. We went to the mall so I could pick out my personalized box of See's candy. While in the very long line I decided to just get a small milk chocolate bordeaux heart. I am not suppose to eat a lot of caffeine right now, so I thought a whole box might be overdoing it. Then we went to dinner. We love thai food so we tried this restaurant close to our house called Yupha's Thai Kitchen. We had Tom Kha Gai soup, Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, and some other appetizer Jon picked out. It was all so so good. I gave Jon his special box of DARK chocolate after dinner. We had a great time together. I do get one more surprise on the 14th ...I can't wait!

Well, today when Jonathan got home he busted open his box of chocolates. We had to laugh because I kept saying, "I don't remember picking out that one." I did not do too good. I must not know Jon's candy tastes that well. He kept saying, "Is this lemon?" or "Is this toffee?" So half of the box is now mine. Next year I am just sticking to pure dark chocolate truffles for the boy. Oh, and as for my surprise, Jon got me the book "The Secret." I have been dying to read it. I had requested it at the library, but the wait was quite long! I love it!
