in my neck of the woods

finally I have some of my family in the valley of the sun.

Rowan is so lucky to have some cousins to play and grow up with.

This cute kid is Hawkins. He's 3 and a ball of energy!

story told to me by Jill:
While Jill was driving to Phoenix today Hawkin's said,
"This isn't Arizona because there aren't trees." (trees= cacti)
and Jill says, "Oh, then where are we?"
and Hawkin's says, "Kentucky."

Funny kid. And I get to be around him now that he's my neighbor.
I am one lucky aunt.

Scotlyn is 10 months and weighs 3 pounds less then my 5 month old son. She is precious.

My brother, Scott, his lovely wife, Jill, and their children are now living in Sierra Vista, AZ. Woo hoo! There is a 3 hour difference between Chandler and Sierra Vista, but if we meet up in Tucson we each only have to drive about an hour and a half. I can't wait to get our kids together- especially when Rowan gets more mobile. I am also gunning for some girl time with Jill. I think she'll be up for some chick flicks - Jon avoids those like the plague. BBQ's, birthday parties, and play-dates OH MY!
