when your husband is stuck at work until 10 pm.
I had a lovely dinner planned. Then I got a phone call that botched that up.
Jon was having to work late.
No worries, dinner would come to him.
A man has got to eat.
I loaded up my Tuscan chicken, glazed carrots, divine salad, and baby.
We were off, and American Idol was just beginning. Darn. How was it?
Some things just take more precedent.
I certainly needed to see my husband after 10+ hours of him being at work.
Rowan needed a car ride to lull him to sleep.
And Jonathan needed food. Period.
So we sat and had a family dinner together on set furniture, proving that no matter where you are, it's home, as long as you're together.
Wow, what a good wife/mother you are! And send along that recipe -- looks great!
ReplyDeleteYou are the best wife ever! I would just have stuck it in the fridge and waited for him to get home. Although, I do get so lonely when he is gone :) I am just lazy. hehe. That food looks great by the way!

ReplyDeleteNice lady! I need that recipe. :) AI was okay. I was not impressed with this weeks singers. You need to get a DVR it is the greatest thing ever invented. That way- you can record, and then watch later and skip ALL of the pointless commercials. Great investment my friend!
