men are from Mars.
We were sitting in the living room and Jon asked what we should do about his wedding ring. It's black and was looking pretty scratched up. I suggested getting him a new ring since the one he has wasn't outrageously expensive, so I wouldn't feel too bad replacing it eventually. Well, it is quiet for a while and I wasn't paying attention to Jon as I was watching conference. A short while later Jon says, "There, good as new!" I look at him and he hands me his ring. I look at it, the scratches are gone, but what is that smell? I put the ring to my nose and then give Jon an "are you serious look?" Yes, Jon has "fixed" his ring by coloring it with a black Sharpie permanent marker! Are you kidding me? I don't care how many times he says he can "fix" his ring by coloring it with a marker, that guy is getting a new ring sooner or later whether he wants it or not!
that is seriously so funny!!!....guys are weird, I agree....
ReplyDeleteOh man that is a great story.
ReplyDeleteyour husband is a dork, or a "dorky dork" as drew would say.
ReplyDeletehehe. that is hilarious. At least he is resourceful right?
ReplyDeleteNOW THAT'S RESOURCEFUL!!! HILARIOUS! MEN ARE THAT WAY WITH CLOTHES AND THINGS, BUT A WEDDING RING?? WOW!
ReplyDeletethat's too funny...love the photo with the rattle in his eyes
ReplyDeleteWay to go Mcgyver! I know Scott can appreciate that story! When Scott LOST his wedding ring in the Boise river only 4 MONTHS after we got married, he just used one of his CTR rings. MEN!!! HE finally got a new ring... 3 yrs later!
ReplyDeleteFunny pic. But I am having a hard time with this visual. Was his ring black to begin with? Or did he color a gold/white gold ring black? He might not be quite right! :)
ReplyDeleteSo, so true. And that is very resourceful!!! :-) Budget fix, baby... ;-)
ReplyDeleteHe looks like an old man in that picture.
