BABY
for the past 10 hours.
After taking his temperature (it was 101.3) and putting him to bed, Jon and I crept into his room after he'd fallen asleep, knelt by the bed, and there his daddy said a sweet prayer for his baby boy. I hope he can rest well tonight and wake up feeling much better in the morning.
Being a parent is scary and stressful. I don't do well when my baby is sick. I might blow things out of proportion, but I can't help it. This is my son, my life! One reason why we might only have two kids- I don't think I could handle the stress of anymore then that!
That's a dang high temp! I hope he is OK now. Is he cutting more teeth or do you really know what the problem is. It is scary when little one's get sicjk cuz they can't tell ya what the problem is and ya just hope your doing the right thing for them. Prayer is a great blessing.
ReplyDeleteHope he is feeling better! That is no fun! Scotlyn wasn't feeling very well last night and had a bit of a temp too. After a warm bath and some brownies, she seemed to be doing better! It was so great to see the two of you yesterday. Let's get together again soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is how Ky was on Easter and we took her to the ER after a few days and found out it was a double ear infections. POOR LITTLE GUY...his symptoms sound the same. I hope he is feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that. I hate when my kids are sick. Especially when they can't tell you what is wrong. Ryan and Carter had 105 temps last month, Yuck!!
ReplyDeletepoor bebe... is he feeling any better now?
ReplyDeleteI am the ultimate paranoid parent. Kinley had a slight fever last week and I immediately thought "she has the Swine Flu!" Of course she was fine!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. That sounds miserable for him and you. I hope he feels better soon. I don't know how people have more than 2 kids. Brave women I guess.
