First visit to the dentist's office!
We stopped by Uncle Wade's office, and Rowan got to play in the chair.
He has teeth, but they don't need to be drilled on yet.
Rowan with great grandma & grandpa Larson(he didn't feel like sitting still...obviously)

He just looks too cute in both of them.
Rowan with Mike at Irene's birthday bbq.
Daddy & Rowan at the bbq.
Rowan has chocolate cake all over his face, and really did not want to be held at that moment.
He had places to go and things to do.
Daddy & Rowan at the piano on Sunday.
Rowan enjoyed smacking the ivories!
Since Jon is still looking for a job we're enjoying having a wide-open schedule. We're making the rounds, and slowly, but surely, visiting all our friends and family here in Utah. Miles is loving the freedom that comes with a big yard. Rowan is having a blast discovering all the rooms in grandma and grandpa's house. He also made it all the way up their stairs this afternoon without Jon and I noticing....yes, we're nominated for bad parent's of the year. I am enjoying being surrounded by the color green. I am NOT ENJOYING the big huge spiders that find their way into the house. Jon is enjoying sleeping in and the plethora of unhealthy food that is in the pantry. OK, and yes, I have enjoyed it a bit too much as well! Let's hope the in-laws take it to China with them! Oh, and another new development since arriving in Utah: Rowan is sleeping through the night! I know what you are thinking. You are thinking he is 10 months old and should have been doing that ages ago, but no, he wasn't. He always woke up around 12 am and I would give him a bottle. Don't judge me. BUT with the support of my husband and m.i.l., I started to ignore him over the past week or so. If I had to go in due to non-stop crying, I would go and rock him, but would not give him a bottle. And we are now on day 3 of him going to bed around 8 pm and not waking up until 8, and sometimes 10 in the morning! So, that is exciting. After 10 months I am once again getting some good quality sleep! Awesome.

Those are some dang cute pictures! I love the two in the car seat! Glad you posted them both! He looks like he's enjoying solids now by the look of the cake on his face! LOL He has sure gfrown and I'm glad he's sleeping through the night for you now. AWESOME for you! Can't wait to see you three next month!
ReplyDeleteActually I think it's been a little longer than 10 months since you got good quality sleep, considering when you were very pregnant and can't get comfortable no matter which way you slept ;) And that's great that he's sleeping through the night finally! Some kids wake up in the middle of the night all the time when they are older than that so don't feel bad. All kids are different. In fact Jack woke me up at 4 am last night, although it probably had something to do with the thunderstorms and lightening.
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats on Rowan sleeping through the night. Glad you're enjoying Utah. Those 2 pics of Rowan in the carseat are very cute. I can see why you couldn't decide between the two - both cute.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you - you are finally catching up on some much needed SLEEP! Congrats! Glad to hear things are going well so far for you all!
