Remember last year when we went sledding? Well, Rowan was just a wee thing at the time, so he stayed in the car the whole time. We were really excited to take him this year, and after all the fresh snow we got last night, we thought today would be the perfect day to go. It was beautiful and sunny, so we got our snow gear on and headed for the mountain - OK, the hill.
As you can see from almost every picture, Rowan was not loving it like we thought he would.
He was OK if he was being held, but the moment we put him on the ground or on the sled- breakdown!
Since we don't have much for snow gear, especially for Rowan, I brought along a towel that we would drape him with when one of us would go on the sled with him. That way any snow that kicked up and blew in our direction wouldn't get on his clothes. He wouldn't keep his hood on, and we don't have gloves for the poor kid, so I don't know if he was cold or just not digging it period. We maybe stayed for all of 30 minutes. Ah well, we tried. Maybe next year he'll get excited about it.
you remember how much drew hated sledding last year? i guess it's an acquired activity. he loved it this year.
