The man of the house turns 28!

Jonathan turned the big 2-8 on July 22nd. Most of his family was in Colorado for a family reunion, so I invited his friends over for pizza and cupcakes that evening. Of course daddy got to sleep in that morning, but Rowan and I eventually woke him up by singing to him and giving him breakfast in bed.
Looks like Jonathan is really happy about being 28.
That afternoon we met Jon's dad for lunch at Cafe Rio. Thanks dad!
We had a good turnout that night for the party. The little kids had a blast running around, playing on the swing and slide. The grownups talked about movies. From what I heard it sounds like Inception is a must see. I just know I must see Mr. Dicaprio.

I think Jonathan had a great birthday. Thanks everyone for helping him celebrate his special day!

    So glad Jon had a great day! I had to laugh! It looks like he woke up in his blue shirt and then wore it to the party! lol Am I right? ha ha

    Rowan is so dang cute in the 2nd picture!! The cupcakes look delish!!

    you know jon doesn't deserve you right? let's remind him of his birthday when yours comes around next year. that said, i'm glad he had a fun birthday and i'm sure you missed us TONS.
