The carpet guy was suppose to finish installing our carpet yesterday. He never even showed up yesterday. Let's hope he gets the job done today, because carpet or not, we're moving in tonight and sleeping there. I am a bit annoyed because I was hoping to unpack a bit today and get somewhat organized, but instead I am now having to entertain my son in an almost empty apartment. (The computer is still up and running-it's always the last thing to go.) Jon is working all day at both jobs - he was gone by 7am. It's already been a long morning since Rowan woke up at 7:16 am. Lucky for me that means he will take an earlier nap. (Which came soon after he smacked me on the head with a toy.) Here are some blurry lovely photos of our morning. Trying to entertain a kid with the stragglers that have not been moved to the house yet. We'll try to spend the rest of the day out of the house after he gets up.
