Jon has been begging me for weeks to take Miles to the Humane Society to get neutered. I promised him I would when we came back from Boise. Bright and early this morning Miles and I were on our way. It's a first come first serve basis and they perform the surgery for $50 whereas the vet charges up to $400, so I was up at 6:30 this morning. When I picked him at 4pm he was still a little drugged and mellow. I got him to the car and he slept the whole way home. Then came the worst part- the collar. He did not fight it cause he does not have the energy and the drugs are still working, but I can tell he does not like it. He has to wear it for a week night and day. The poor little guy is passed out on the floor right now. At first he wasn't sure what to do once that thing was around his neck. He tried to sleep standing, but eventually his head got lower and lower to the floor.
The word neuter can refer to:
The property of being neither biologically male or female
as a noun, a
desexed male dog or other animal
( so now I guess we have an "it" dog)
The poor little thing, but as Price is Right still sais, "get your dogs and cats neutered...its important." Miles youll still be a boy to me, youre too cute.
ReplyDeleteThat would be totally weird if I was writing to David/JD's mom. No Elaine is my roommate from Ricks, the friend who took me to the Spa before Carinos.
:)
No worries - he'll still be very male ;-). Just a little easier to handle! :-) Here's hoping the drugs are still working... ;-)
