I was pleasantly surprised as I walked the produce "isle" of the grocery store this afternoon and came across beautiful & delicious looking strawberries. The best part was that they were only $1 a box! I swear I can never buy strawberries because they always seem expensive. So today when I came across this sweet deal I bought four and have already finished 1! YUM!

My Steal of the Day!
I was pleasantly surprised as I walked the produce "isle" of the grocery store this afternoon and came across beautiful & delicious looking strawberries. The best part was that they were only $1 a box! I swear I can never buy strawberries because they always seem expensive. So today when I came across this sweet deal I bought four and have already finished 1! YUM!

ReplyDeleteHeck dont fret about making the berries into jam (whats the point, just buy the stuff) just cut em up and stuff them into the freezer for future, when the berries cost $50 per box. Oh it will be coming soon, probably tomorrow, you wait and see, all this inflation stuff is biting our hynies off. OUCH! :)

What a great deal! We usually get strawberries in the summer time and make smoothies. Yummy! (But we have to use the strawberries up real fast or they go bad).

ReplyDeleteMy sister actually lives in Tempe and loves it there too. Unfortunately we are not moving there this summer. My husband will be joining a practice down in Sierra Vista, I think its an hour south of Tucson. But we will be making visits to Tempe and Mesa often, so we should get together for dinner sometime.
