Do you ever just feel whelmed? Overwhelmed? Underwhelmed? I certainly do! Perhaps it is the pregnancy hormones fueling my feelings. I feel really lucky cause lately I have been introduced to a lot of neat things thanks to this BLOG . Seriously, there are some amazing recipes and craft ideas on this site so check it out if you have time. Plus, she makes some amazing jewelry that any mother would love- check it out HERE. This lovely girl has inspired me to get more crafty. Along with that I am feeling a little stressed because sometimes I feel I don't have the proper resources to fullfill all I am thinking and dreaming about- and then I feel overwhelmed. I get all these ideas of things I want to do and then feel sad when I feel like I can't accomplish all of them. I am just going to have to learn to take it all one project at a time.

I feel the same way when I read Kelly's blog (and many others). I get a bit depressed because I want to do all those things, but don't feel creative enough or have the patience. Fortunately, I can appreciate what they do and just do my own little things. Thanks for introducing digital scrapbooking to me! This makes me feel better :)
ReplyDeletethanks for all the compliments... but seriously, i get overwhelmed ALL the time. (& i post about it too). and as much as i try to include as much of my real life on the blog, which includes the good, the bad and the ugly, remember that you do only see that parts of my life that i post. for instance, the fact that my boys or i didn't get dressed or showered until about 2 in the afternoon today, didn't make it to the blog. just remember, we all have crappy days.... as thomas jefferson once said: "when you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot & hang on." so this is me, tying my rope and hanging on. because as they say: "everything will be okay in the end. if it's not the okay, it's not the end."
ReplyDeleteI do understand! It's one good reason to be thankful for eternity, LOL - it's not like we have to cram everything into 100+/- years here, thank goodness! ;-) (Just last week, I believe, Hubby was "encouraging" me to just finish something, since I have about a zillion interesting but unfinished projects hanging around...)
ReplyDeleteGood heavens! Do I ever not feel that way? Seriously, sometimes I feel accomplished because I showered today. hahaha. And now you are going to add to my sense of unproductivity by showing me a miriad of blogging/craft queens that not only have time to do everything, they have time to do everything perfectly.
