We all have these days and boy am I having a couple of them! I am missing my family and friends. After talking with my sister Monday night and my good friend Hillary yesterday it just made me a little sad to be so far away from everyone. I just wish I could hop in the car and drive to their houses for a visit. I wish I could go to my mom's house for a sewing lesson. I wish my nieces and nephews were close so I could take them to the pool. I wish I could see my new nephews and niece. I wish, I wish, I wish! Getting old can be the pits at times.

Yes, we definitely all have those days... we're only a click away, though! :-) I find that when I'm feeling lonely/homesick, it helps to find a friendship to strengthen where I am - it kind of uses that energy to build other great things :-). Hope your days go better soon! We love you! :-)
ReplyDeleteSorry girl....we all have days like that!!!...sucks!!!!...but tomorrow will be a better day!...you'll see!
ReplyDeleteDon't think your the only one! I get a little meloncoly after family events when my kids aren't there. I sure wish you kids did live closer but that's life. We just have to do the best we can. I love you and miss you too! I would love to give you a sewing lesson! Hang in there. July's coming!
ReplyDeleteHeather dont miss me right now, I smell, because of pregnancy you know how bowels can be a little "not right," Ive been stinkering a lot lately and theyre not just little inocent flowering scented toots either. :) ha ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteright now Im eating some honey pretzles and letting them hang from my mouth while I chew then feeding them into my mouth with my lips, Im very talented. When you come in July Ill show you.
I know how you feel. Arizona did that to me at times too....in fact....California does it to me as well. It's amazing how living near family can make all the difference on those days. Thinking about you...
ReplyDeleteLove,
Britt
I know just how you feel. We live in Ridgecrest, CA and I hate it. It's in the middle of the desert, so I understand about your heat wave too. Joshua's birthday is also the same day as Seth's, but he has you beat by a couple of years. Happy birthday soon, Rico Suave...
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I'm not the only one smuldering to death in the heat, sad and lonely! I'm always in a total funk after returning back to the desert from being around family and old friends. Being preggy probably aint helping you ground those emotions any either! blast!
ReplyDeleteps- hope your rain cloud passes quickly!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya. We only get to see my fam about twice a year - if we're lucky! Hope you start feeling better soon.
ReplyDelete"Sending you a smile to brighten up your day, hope it brings you sunshine & keeps the clouds away!"
