Here is me and my oldest brother Scott. He flew into Phoenix Sunday and stayed the night at our place. He was off very bright and early Monday morning for Tucson. He is beginning border patrol training this week. Here's something interesting: the day he starts this adventure (i.e. communal showers w/ a bunch of strangers) is 15 years to the day since he left to go on his mission (once again, communal showers w/ a bunch of strangers). The poor guy (and his poor family) have to be away from each other for 2 months (minimum) while he's in New Mexico. The good news is he and his family will live in Sierra Vista when he finishes training and begins working on the Arizona border!! Hip hip hooray for me and Jon. Sierra Vista is maybe 2 hours south of us so at least we'll have some of my family "close" by. Good luck Scott, we know you'll do great!

Hi Scott....Bye Scott

ReplyDeleteYou're almost there girl! Advice: go do a McDonalds or Wendys or some other kind of late night food thing with your hubby. Once you have a child and they go to sleep for the night, one of you is always stuck at home unless you get a sitter. Enjoy your freedom to be spontaneous while you can!

I saw this, this morning and talked to Scott shortly after. He called me cuz he needed my address. He misses his family. I'm so glad you guys will be close enough to spend some time together. Then I want you all to move back here. Can you do that for me????? LOL
