the lucky # of the day.
I went to the doctor today and she told me I was almost dilated 2 centimeters. Yes, I know this does not mean much since you can stay dilated at a two, three, or four for weeks and not have much of anything happen. However, I am still happy hearing it cause at least I know the process is underway! Hopefully when I see the doctor next week she'll be able to tell me I am at a three. That could be the case since we're moving this weekend and I'll be going up and down stairs and busy with packing and unpacking. I just hope the baby gives us enough time to setup house before he decides to make his grand debut.(Thanks for the pic. Jen)
Oh I'm so excited you are starting to dilate! That is great news. But yes, that little man needs to give you just a couple more weeks before you get to hold his bumb!!! Good luck with moving. Can't wait to see pics of your new place.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being dilated to a 2 already! That is definitely exciting. Good luck with the move. I'm not sure which is better or easier -- moving while being 37 weeks pregnant, or with a newborn. We'll have to swap stories!
ReplyDeleteDon't over do it. We want Rowan to cook as long as needed. I wish I wee there to help ya. Be careful!
ReplyDeleteBet you're lovin' your dr. right now! ;-) And it's good that your body is warming up... you're right that you could sit there for a while, or things could just pick up all of a sudden! Hope Baby's got a few more days, at least, and then I hope everything goes GREAT for you!!! :-) EXCITING!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, 2 cm, I was only 1-1.5 cm pretty much the ENTIRE time. It drove me nuts.
ReplyDeleteI dont know what on earth I was thinking, I thought you moved last week. Girl, kick that vagina into gear, move move move like a mad woman!!! :)
Dilating to a 2 is no small feat... I never dilated beyond 1 with either babe.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize it was this weekend you are moving! Holy moly. You've got a full plate.
The last 2 times we've moved I was preggo (not nearly as far along as you, however.) It's good and bad. Good cuz you have every excuse in the world to be semi-lazy, bad because you really want to do all the work yourself instead of watching the men butcher the job! hahaha. good luck.
Good luck sister!!!! I only made it dialated to a 1 before my water broke with all of my kids. I can't imagine walking around for weeks knowing you are dialated.
ReplyDeleteHooray! The process has started! You never know when the day will come.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! So exciting. Be careful with moving!
ReplyDeleteaww.. CUTE!!! I don't know why I just typed that. But YAY for you! I hope that Rowan stays there a little longer. Happy moving. Take breaks!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care!
We both miss ya!
(it really wasn't fair that I saw you guys and Chris hasn't yet.)
We love you!
hmmmm moving at 37 weeks. Sounds oddily familiar. Oh yeah! We moved the day before Jayden arrived. Don't lift too much, Cleaning/packing gave me contraction but that is about all it did. I didn't know you guys were moving. must have missed that post. good luck and seriously take it easy.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck! Try to get as much done now as you can because you are going to be very tired and very busy when the little man gets here. Just don't push yourself too much! We love you guys and are super excited for you!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Keep us posted!
ReplyDeleteHeather- you look gorgeous!!!! It was nice to hear from you. Hope all is going well, sounds like it is. Good luck on the upcoming addition of yours. They are SO much fun, keep me updated :-)
