Our last baby free weekend....possibly
Since there is a good chance that I have the baby in the week ahead Jonathan and I decided we better go out this weekend and enjoy each other's company as a baby-free couple. We started off the night by going to a gourmet Philly sandwich shop that I heard about on the news. The place is called Forefathers and man was it good. I think we will definitely go back- maybe we'll take my mom when she is here. Next we went to the Tempe Town Lake for some pictures. When we got home we played Rummikub and ate some dessert. It was fun and I know we will appreciate our time alone together when we become parents- but we'll also love our time together with our son!

ReplyDeleteGood for you guys! Ry had the week off of school before Owen came and we did all these random things all day every day, wishing the baby would come then. But looking back on it now, I'm glad it worked out how it did! It was so nice to have those last baby-free moments together. Anyway, I am so excited for you guys, he's almost here!

ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to have some quality time alone with hubby! Glad you were able to enjoy a last hurrah before Rowan comes but you are going to have a great time with the little man and you will both LOVE being a family of three!

ReplyDeleteHiya Heatha, Auh, these are the moments to not pass up. I remember when Val was "comming" I had my induction date scheduled for Monday and I thought, should I call in Friday? Heck ya! So Jar and I ordered out and we rocked out as much as we could, considering he was studying.

Man, I really miss our date nights, and wish me and Cory could take more of them now. We definitely took for granted that alone time, and the freedom to go where we want for as long as we want! I do love spending time with our little boy though...just watching him experience new things is SOOOOO much fun...I wouldn't trade it for the world. I LOVE the pics of the bridge by the way...nice photography skills whoever took the picture...nice!!!
