My lucky numbers today.

I had another doctor's appointment today and here is what my lady doc told me. I am dilated to a 2, 80% effaced, and her GUESS is that I will deliver a week early. That would mean Jon and I would be heading to the hospital in about ten days and having this little man around September 12th. That is fine with me- I just did not want a 9/11 baby. Of course she said, "Don't hold me to it." To which I replied, "I'll just keep my fingers crossed." The apartment is put together for the most part- I think I can finish putting the rest away today, so baby Larson, you are welcome to enter the world at anytime. My weight gain has stabilized and the last two appointments I have not gone up or down, so my total weight gain has been 24 pounds- I can live with that.
How exciting! I just wish I could be there when he enters the world! I'll settle for a couple of weeks later! Everytime you call me, my heart skips a beat and I have to ask, "are ya in the hospital?" It won't be long now! Keep me posted!!!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! Keeping our fingers crossed for ya! :-)
ReplyDeleteso close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletecute cute cute!!! so did I mention CUTE???? YAY!!! I'm glad that things are running smoothly! YAY!!! Good luck with the unpacking! I'm sure Rowan will make his appearance when it's time.
ReplyDeleteHey, I am a 9/11 baby. It's not so bad, really. People never forget my birthday, at least!
ReplyDeleteBTW, your baby room is ADORABLE, Heather. I love it.
I am so hoping our babies are born on the same day. I will GLADLY go early!!! Just call me when you go to the hospital and I'll do some type of labor inducing activity to get things rolling. I was actually surprised that you were not more dilated, especially after the moving adventure. Just a little more baking time I guess! Good luck with the peeing. I am almost going to get depends. j/k
ReplyDeleteYou've only gained 24 pounds? Dang girl! I gained 40 with Jamison!
ReplyDeleteWahoo! It'll be here before you know it... and then there is no turning back! Muahahaha. You will be great.
ReplyDeleteLove lil babe's room. :)
Sounds like things are coming along nicely. I hope you do have him a week early. Has your doc said how big she thinks he might be? Great job on the weight gain! That's the perfect amount!
ReplyDeleteYeeee Haaaa, riden cowboy! Now if only we could get you to ride a horse (and not sneeze from your algery) we'd get you delivering Rowan soooo much sooner, maybe today?!?!?
ReplyDeleteThis is so wonderful! I watched 2 my girlfriend's boys yesterday while she went to her doc appt, she was dialated to 3 and efaced 70%. I sure hope these early dilation and efation (if they are words) are in the air when my due date is around. I am sooooo excited for you Heather!!!!!
