Burrito Baby

Burrito baby- sounds like an infomercial or the new cheesy "must have" doll for Christmas this year. But in fact it is my saving grace for an overtired grumpy baby.
Some nights Rowans screams.
Some nights Rowan screams a lot.
Some nights Rowan screams and Jon and I do not know what to do.
Some nights Rowan screams and Jon and I pass him off like he's a football.
Some nights Rowan screams and he doesn't want a bottle, the boob, or a pacifier.
Some nights Rowan screams.
And that is when I know it's time for burrito baby.
Some nights Rowan screams and mommy wraps him up like a burrito.
Some nights.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz- shhh I am sleeping.

  1. You are so funny. Burrito baby is the best thing ever. We wrapped Jack like that every time he slept until he was almost 7 or 8 months old... it was our saving grace! I hope you're getting some sleep-somewhere in there.

  9. I know the feeling! I think about getting pregnant againg and I just pray that my next baby likes to sleep! I had a screemer too! And he still likes to get up in the middle of the night and he is 2 and a half! So good luck! Hopefully the burrito thing works! Let me know if it does I will for sure try that next time!

  10. We love the swaddling too. Jason's nickname was Jason burrito, and Jill's is Pea pod, because she bulges at the shoulders and hips and looks just like a pea pod. In fact, I am holding the pea pod as I type (one handed!)
