It's the weekend

Here's what we did.

It's amazing what becoming parents does to you- for the first time since Jon and I have been married we did something festive for Halloween- thanks to Rowan. I just want to start experiencing all these things now that I have a little boy. He may not appreciate it now, but when he is older I hope he is happy that Jon and I celebrated these fun and special times as a family. Of course I hope to continue to do things as a family for many years to come. I just wanted to get a good head start on them now- after all, they are great photo ops! So on this beautiful Saturday in Arizona we visited the pumpkin patch. And of course we had to pick out a pumpkin- because it just wouldn't be Halloween if you did not have at least one adorning your porch.

  3. Great pics! That black and white one with the orange pumpkins is really cool! I love Fall and pumpkins! Getting out the decorations is fun - but I have a hard time keeping Katie away from them - she wants to play with them. She's doing better now that they've been out for a few weeks now.

We were thinking of doing it sometime in November, so that it would be around the same time as our anniversary. We'll share the news as time goes by. Love you guys and miss you much!
