Four generations
We blessed Rowan in church today. The counselor conducting the meeting announced the blessing of "Rowan BRADLEY Larson." It's BRADY- but whatever. The hubs did a great job and gave Rowan a sweet blessing. I got a little teary eyed when he began the prayer- I don't know why, I just did. Guess it's just one of the side effects of becoming a parent- watery eyes for no real apparent reason. Rowan was quiet at the beginning of the blessing but started to make some noise 1/2 way in- maybe he was just telling his daddy, "good job!" We were lucky to have a good show of family- the hub's parents, grandparents, brother, aunt and uncle, and cousin and husband all came to support us. It was really nice. Oh, and we weighed Rowan today and can you believe it- he weighs 12 1/2 pounds!

ReplyDeleteThat's awesome that you had so many family members there for that special day! We waited until we went back to Utah to visit at Christmas time to bless Ryan, which turned out pretty well. However, it would have been nice to bless him in our ward here too, but I guess you can't have both. I'm glad that it was such a great day for your family!!!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm totally feeling you on the crying thing. I was NEVER a cry baby before Easton, but now the silliest things make me tear up. It's been a hard adjustment... You look great!
