Growing Rowan

My baby is 2 months old!

I can't believe 2 months have already flown by since we welcomed our sweet little boy. He is growing like a weed. I take him to the doctor on the 26th and I am very curious about his stats. The hubs and I weighed him last Sunday and he weighed in at about 12.5 pounds. He's also very long. He is fitting into clothes (length wise) that are meant for 3+ months. I see him daily so I don't think I see the changes that others see so easily, but I know he must be changing because I have a big pile of clothes that don't fit him anymore. He is a sweet baby. He is smiling a lot and if you're really lucky and know the tricks you can get a giggle or two out of him. Now that is something that will make any momma weak in the knees! He is "talking" a lot and the hubs and I are both having fun talking back! I can already tell that he is going to be an active little boy. He loves - almost insists- to be moving all the time. Whether we are feeding him or just holding him he is not content to just sit there- he loves a rock or sway. He also enjoys standing with the assistance of mom or dad. He has been sleeping in his crib for about a week now which means better rest for me- when he was right next to me in his bassinet I would wake with every peep he made. We love our little man so much and are looking forward to spending the holidays with him- he is the best gift we could ask for and we're so thankful to have him in our lives.
