December 1st
The tree is up. The lights are on. And we are ready to bring on the Christmas spirit. We plan on reading some sort of Christmas story every night until the 25th. I think Rowan is going to love looking at the tree. I'll get a shot of him gazing at the tree- but he's in bed right now, so it will have to wait. I just love trees! And I really love the lights- I made the hubs buy me another strand this year. I can't get enough of them!
cute tree. I like the blue ornaments. Our tree will be full of random ornaments that we have collected over the years and that the kids have made.

ReplyDeleteLove your tree! I am having a hard time getting into the holiday spirit this year with Scott gone! Normally I am out of control, putting up lights, decorating the whole house, baking... It's just not the same this year. I like your book idea. My mom wrapped up a book for us to open and read each night until Christmas. A very fun way to count down the days!
ReplyDeleteVery nice tree! If Scott or Jeff were decorating it they'd add some orange bulbs tot eh blue! LOL Put the other presents under too! The paper won't match but hey, it's a couple more gifts!

I'm jealous, we got our tree on Sat. It's in the house, but we haven't had time to decorate it or even put lights on it. It's naked! At least it is making the house smell nice though. Dan has been really busy finishing up the semester so I guess I could put the lights on myself, but I don't want to get all sappy, plus isn't that part of what husbands are for??
