I'm always snapping pictures of the hubs & baby. I figured it was time for a shot of me & baby!
What an awesome 4 day weekend with the hubs & baby. If only all work weeks could be 3 on and 4 off! Here is why the weekend was so wonderful:(OK, let me clarify- we put him in his crib at 11pm and he fell asleep on his own- some nights it only took 20 minutes other nights it took longer...much longer!)
2. the hubs got up for the early hour (4/5 am) feeding with Rowan- I got to sleep in til the 2nd feeding- usually around 7:30am.
3. I got to cuddle on the couch with the hubs and watch funny stuff on TV- like "King of Queens"
4. I smiled a lot because the hubs made Rowan smile and giggle! Oh that giggle. One of these days I will get it on camera- and you'll LOVE it.
5. We took pictures for our Christmas card. Let me just say this- Rowan is adorable in a Santa hat.
6. I got to see my friend Megan and her family. I love that girl. Please move back to AZ Megan!
7. Thanksgiving- food- lots of food. Of course that would make me happy.
8. the hubs & I went to the mall, walked around, saw a girl handcuffed and being led away by a cop, and did some Christmas shopping.
9. I think I may have made a friend at church- and I didn't even have to instigate it!
10. I opened a Christmas present early- it's OK, I was suppose to. Let me just say MY MOM IS AMAZING. The gift deserves (and will get) it's own post.
11. I got out my Christmas decor (fake tree and all) and will be decorating for FHE Monday night!
See, I told you it was a great weekend. Don't you agree?
Isn't is nice to have the hubs home to help out and have fun with? I like having mine home so I can actually have a conversation with someone older than 2.

I especially love that you and Jon got to witness the gal get cuffed and hawled away. one time while working at picture galleries 2 cops came in looking like bikers (they were undercover) looking for a dude who worked there. Unfortunately the dude called in sick that day. He probably skipped town. But it was way cool to see the undercover guys.
