This picture will make sense when you read the post right before this one. And you'll laugh. Well, you should laugh, I know I did. I am really going to need a new wardrobe after baby #1. Puke stains seems to be harder to get out then they would seem. Back to my pj's.
I had to laugh when my sister shortly after having her baby asked "will I ever be clean again." I had lecture my husband when we came home from a family function and looked in the mirror and to my horror I discovered that my shirt was covered in boogers and slobber. "you need to tell me when I look like this." His reply "but, you always look like that." And I had to shrug when the missionaries showed up the other day and once again I was covered in baby stains. I'm Mom. This is what I look like.
ReplyDeleteI like Michelle's comment... haha. THough I know that I cannot relate, I think it's cute...
ReplyDeleteI can so relate to this!!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember my pediatrician told me not to buy new clothes after Samantha was born. You are the case and point!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely!!! :-) Synthetics tend to wash a little better, FWIW... and Spray-n-Wash gets spit-up out pretty well, LOL...
ReplyDeleteOH!!! Also, warm/-er water will set stains, so pre-treat, cold wash, etc... good luck! :-)
I'm sorry, I had to laugh too. That is so true. Why get dressed up if you're not going anywhere? It's been awhile since I had to worry about that, but that will change in a few short weeks. Ah, motherhood.
ReplyDeletei hope you have a better weekend! rowan is getting so big. he's so cute (well, so handsome)!
ReplyDeleteoh sweetie, you really are into it full force aren't you? Hey, they're almost 4 months. Can you believe it? I definitely remember this last month a lot more than the first 3.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain. I had the same problem with Oscar, well.....all of my kids actually but Oscar was the worst. We finally put him on prescription medicine called Zantac. It has been great since then. Good Luck!!!
ReplyDeleteIt happens to gramma's too! We were out to dinner with Stillman and Michelle and the kids and I asked to hold Jayden. In the passing him over the table his little foot hit the glass of cherry coke and spilled down my pants. I left the resturant looking like I'd wet my pants! Give me spit any time! LOL It was worth it!
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you how much I do not miss those days! I love OxyClean stain remover..it works miracles.
