this was dinner: homemade pizza
QUESTION:Where have all the bloggers gone?
Sometimes I feel like I am the only one blogging, and yes, I know I am obsessed with it and post daily, whereas most bloggers tend to post a little more sporadically, but I feel like it has gotten few and far between lately. It makes me wonder if I am losing my blogging friends to facebook. Am I? Are all of you over at facebook? I too have a facebook account, but to be perfectly honest, I don't love facebook and I would totally delete my account if I didn't have a 10 year high school reunion to plan. Trust me, as soon as that is over my facebook account is going bye bye. (the day I have to say goodbye to blogging is not going to be pretty) I have no intentions of slowing down, I only wonder if anyone is reading. Am I talking to myself so to speak? Are you all just popping in and popping out without leaving a comment? Come on, I have no friends here, blogland is my social life and your comments are my interaction with adults. So, if you are still here, and haven't been completely sucked in by facebook, give me a shout out from time to time and let me know my random, pointless writings have a purpose, and if you don't, it's OK, I am still going to blog up a storm.
(and don't tell me you're on Twitter....LAME!)
POST EDIT:
I have to defend myself. After declaring my dislike for FB, I took a quiz on FB. I had to. I saw the picture of Marilyn Monroe, and if you know me, then you know there is no resisting when I see that woman. Oh, it was the "which sexy lady are you?" quiz. And no, I am not Marilyn. I am Doris Day. That is fine, Kay-sa-ra-sa-ra right?

I'm here heather, but I have become obsessed with couponing right now and it has been taking up a lot of my spare time...... note the time of this comment!
ReplyDeleteHeather, I always read your blogs! I don't have time to update mine because my life is consumed by our house on the market and our lack of knowing where we are moving in June. I also don't like Facebook.
ReplyDeleteYou know what?...I was wondering the same thing!...It seems that blogging is loosing fans!
ReplyDeleteWell, I always thought that your blog gets all the comments cuz I get hardly any!!! I think my blog is boring compared to yours but I haven't slowed down! Sometimes it's all I have to do at work. I don't really like Facebook but it's where 2 of my kids are, so I check it out but don't really do much on it. I like blogs soooo much better! PS The pizza looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou know I love your posts. Blogging too is my social life. Man how times have changed. Don't you sometimes wish you were back in high school? Maybe just for a little bit? Speaking of, I am WAY excited to hear you are planning a 10 year reunion. Can't wait!
ReplyDeletehehe. you crack me up! I LOVE LOVE that you post almost every day. I can always count on you to have something. Plus, reading your blog always makes me happy. It sounds super cheesy, but You always find the joy in every day life and things like being with your hubby and your little baby :) Things like fresh bakes muffins and going for walks. It is a breath of fresh air. It just makes me happy to read your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI know I know. My life is slowly been taken over by therapy appointments and dr visits for Austin. I try to post once a week. I'm still here and I read all of your posts, I promise!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm still reading your blog (ok, well I wasn't for awhile because I never changed your blog address), but blogging is WAY better than fb. I'm on fb too, but you don't get to "hear" people's thoughts like you do on blogs. I'm not a good blogger because there's usually something I'd rather be doing than sitting at the computer blogging. But, it's definitely NOT because I'm on fb.
ReplyDeleteHere! :)
ReplyDeleteyou know me i blog when i feel interesting...let's face it, most the time i am boring. but i do LOVE reading yours dear friend - seriously.
ReplyDeleteI don't always leave comments but I do read your entries. Sorry I don't post more often. I like how creative you are. I just don't have that much to post about I guess. Although I will be posting about Katie's birthday soon as I get a chance. But I love keeping in touch and getting to know family/friends through blogging. So blog away.
ReplyDeleteNo friends here? What about us in Moms Group? I may not have a blog but I love reading yours! I am currently blog-less due to my indecisiveness with the title! Any suggestions?!
ReplyDeletei'm still here! (typing one handed of course) i love checking your blog and that pizza looks d-lish. can i get the recipe?!? rowan is a hunk!
ReplyDeleteheather i always check your blog. i just can't keep up with commenting since you're so post-crazy.
ReplyDeleteWell I read your blog often and appreciate it. I read it while I am at work so it gives me some great reading. I'm not a very good daily blogger though. My post are much less exciting then yours also. Keep up with the blogging its great! The pizza looks fabulous too by the way.
ReplyDeleteI thought you had stopped your daily blogs, until I read hillary's blog tonight and figured out you changed your url....I totally forgot!
ReplyDeleteI feel the sense of blogging losing its "excitement" for others. I am just not as creative as you are when it comes to coming up with a post when life seems to be so incradibly lame to talk about. I applaud you and your devotion to blogging, I love to read yours and love your awesome pictures your get to post!
I to am not a huge FB fan, I like it, but not addicted to it like some, and I HATE most of those stinkin note tag things. You r planning the reunion...lucky you, talk to eden, she will have loads of tips for you...
i totally feel the same way! is anyone out there??
ReplyDeleteLOL - hey, Twitter's not lame, LOL! But blogging is much better for communicating thoughts that require more than 140 characters, LOL...
ReplyDeleteI'm here Heather - I read about your wonderful life quite often - you are a darling wife and mommy
ReplyDeleteYou've lost me to a disaster of a house that I have been trying to move into for three months... but I'm back, sorta. :)
ReplyDeleteOh- and I have missed your posts, doing mad catch up now, and LOVING IT!!
Well, you are just better than most! I love reading your posts, and do try and blog (I have been away from home for the past week or so, so hopefully I can catch up). But I do agree, that Blogging has tended to slow down... Life just sometimes gets in the way! Keep up your Blog though girly, it helps me smile at least once a day! :)
