I expected this.
I know I am suppose to be in blog retirement for awhile, but, this is big. I can't believe it. I knew it was only a matter of time before Farrah passed away. However, when Jon sent me a text message saying, "MJ is dead." I was like, "WHAT!?" Believe me, I tried to think of other people with the initials MJ, but I knew it was the king of pop. I hope he's moonwalking in heaven.....but he better keep his hands away from the nether region!

It's a sad day...I remember thinking my Bad T-shirt was the coolest thing ever! I would have killed for a red jacket like he has in the Beat It video as a kid. I hope Hawkins will be alright...he sure enjoys dancing to a good MJ song!
ReplyDeleteOh Heather, you are so dang funny! This makes me laugh. Your good when you can make someone laugh at a tragedy. At least his music lives on!
ReplyDeleteHeather- you were the first person I thought of when I heard he died yesterday. Brought back a lot of childhood memories- especially remember your brothers and performing their MJ moves. Good times. -T-
ReplyDelete(See my comment below about blogging). I didn't even know who Farrah Faucett was. When I read about her I was like ohh okay - a Charlie's Angel. As for MJ - I remember listening to his music when I was little and I remember Thriller but have never been a huge fan. Sorry - no offense anybody. He does have good music though.
ReplyDeleteChris notified me of the tragedy. It is sad. I still think it's sad. He was too young! and preparing for a tour too! Man! I wanted to see him live before he passed. Anyway. We still have his music and Hawkins' moves!
ReplyDeleteI would say a good thing coming out of no blogging for. I felt the same way, I was sad Farrah had died but everyone knew it was coming, but Michael. He was just starting a new tour and I had heard was supposed to be a great come back. :( I am definately sad about this. I will miss being able to read your updates but I hope you enjoy your time away and get lots done and have fun with the handsome men in your life.
ReplyDeleteHeather,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on my polaroids. There will be no name tattoos on my body, even if she is my wife. :)
I'm just not a fan of getting a name tattooed. But I will think of something to put on there that links me to her.
FYI, search Craigslist for a polaroid camera. Got two cameras for $25 from some dude down here. Although the film is super expensive, the photos make it well worth the extra money.

Hey Heather, I don't know when you will get this since you are taking a break from blogging.. (which I need to do too). BUT I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for you to come show me what you know on Photoshop or Digital Scrapbooking when you come into town. It would be fun to see you and Carter and Rowan could totally chill together. My e-mail is alisonjenkins@rocketmail.com If it works out for you to come over then let me know when it would be best for you. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GIFT!!! You are so sweet to do that for me and it was exactly what I have been wanting! I have just been dreading spending the money for it. So thank you for making it for me!

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear of your retirement. I hope that you guys will be moving back up here soon so we can all just hang out instead of reading blogs to stay intouch. So are the rumors true? Are you guys moving back to Utah?
ReplyDeleteHow are you doing?
I gave up blogging a long time ago, because I couldn't get anything done, including blogging.
