OK, so my kid has a big head. I'd like to think that means he is going to be a genius. Apparently he needs to eat more, which I find funny, because I feel like he is always eating. I guess a diet of fruit snacks and bananas isn't packing on the pounds, which is why one of my new year resolutions is to make healthy well rounded dinners 3-4 times per week. We gotta get this kid to eat his meat and potatoes!
As you can see I dragged Jon along for this appointment. I figured since he isn't working at the moment he could come along, help, and hold down the kid when he got his shots. Fair, considering I had to do that all by myself the first year of his life. Not fun. Is there anything worse then holding down a child who doesn't understand what is happening to him? He's probably thinking, "Mommy, why are you letting them do this to me? I'm a good boy." Truthfully, I don't think the shots bother him that much, it's the being restrained that this kid HATES.
He's good for another 3 months. Hopefully we can get him beefed up by his next appointment, otherwise we have to start including PediaSure in his diet.

What a cute little healthy baby boy! I think he looks beefy but I'm not a Dr. Glad Jon was able to help out. Looks like he enjoyed having daddy along for the ride. I sure like his new little haircut!
ReplyDeleteBig head huh? I'm afraid we'll have the same ordeal with Tristan. Anyway, glad he's doin' great.
ReplyDeletetrust me, his head isn't that big. i mean, all you need to do is compare it to drew's and then it will seem small.
