Details.

OK, so Jon is gone working on a film set in Helper, Utah for 3 weeks. (1 week down, 2 to go.) I was feeling bad that I didn't know much about it when people asked me for details. I felt as a wife I should know what exactly my husband is doing, so I finally asked him when I was talking with him the other day. So, for those of you who are interested, here are the details.

The title of the film is "The Wayshower." I couldn't tell you if that is just the working title or not. The main actors are Eric Roberts, whose daughter is Emma Roberts - you know, the girl who played Nancy Drew. Eric was a bad guy in the Dark Knight.

Perhaps you know his sister better. A little lady by the name of Julia.

Eric filmed all his stuff this past week, and coming up next is the actor Peter Stormare. I know him as the guy who puts Steve Buscemi in the wood chipper in the movie "Fargo."

Jon is working as a "best boy," which basically means he does the work around the electric equipment. Not his favorite thing to do on set, but by the time he found out about this production and got his resume over to the guy who was doing the hiring, they'd already hired a first a/c, which is what he prefers to do, and has done on the last few sets. First a/c's are basically the dp's (director or photography) right hand man. They focus all the shots. But he was just glad he got on period. SO that is it folks. Keep your eye out for the film, but I imagine it will only be playing in select theaters nationwide when it's released.
