Jon and I have moved at least once a year since we have been married. Needless to say I am getting really sick of moving. However, hopefully we will only have one more move after this one before we settle down into a place of our very own.
So here is the latest rental. A townhouse in Layton. All is good here except for the fact that we can't fit our king size mattress up the stairs. We've been sleeping in sleeping bags for a week.
Once we got moved it was a top priority to have the couches cleaned. I finally convinced Jon to let me spend the money after removing the cushions to discover all sorts of "treasures" left by all the birds that had flown into the garage where they were being stored. And a big thanks to Wade and Kelly for the couches! We are loving them.
Rowan enjoying his new pad. It's a really great location. We are within walking distance to the library, park, and the surf n' swim! Love it. Should be fun while we are here!

And why did we move again? Because grandma and grandpa are home for the summer! It's been fun having them back. It seems whenever they're around I get fatter. Food, food, glorious food.
Not sure how long we will be at this place, hopefully not long given the bed dilemma. The next move should be really exciting, and after that move no more moving posts from me for a long time...I hope.

I totally feel your pain with the whole moving thing...I think the longest we have ever lived somewhere in our 7 years of marriage was a year and 1/2. SO SORRY girl! Hopefully soon you will be settled somewhere that is your own :)
ReplyDeleteWe were in the same boat for a long time. We bought a home this year though, so it better not happen again anytime soon! Hang in there, you'll settle down and then get to do all those fun decorating things you've always wanted to do!

ReplyDeletewell cute little place!!! sorry you had to move again. I wonder though, since you have moved so much you haven't accumulated much either right? Chris and I have so much stuff now! it's crazy how being married for only 3 years you accumulate so much junk! We've already outgrown our 3 bedroom house! Where are we gonna put the new baby when (s)he arrives! LOL anyway, have fun there!

ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, king-size beds rock. They also SUCK. And we can almost totally feel your pain; we've been able to finagle ours successfully, but good heavens, it's huge and horrid. Whenever we end up moving, we're getting rid of it & downsizing to a queen, which will be more comfortable and more moveable... not to mention giving us at least six more inches of walking space in our room! ;)
