black!
Jonathan's little sister got married Saturday, and her colors were red, white, and black. Here is my little family all dressed up in the appropriate attire. Do you see Rowan's little tie? This photo doesn't do it justice, but it was a huge hit. Oh, and do you know how difficult it is to find black dress pants for a toddler? SO HARD! I searched all morning (yes, I procrastinated til the day of the wedding to find Rowan an outfit.) for those stinking black pants! Finally found some black corduroys at Savers, the last place I went to before giving up. The shirt and tie I found at Kid to Kid. See the sucker Rowan is holding? Pretty sure he had about 5 of those that night. He didn't actually eat all 5. He kept throwing them on the floor when he got ticked off, and then he'd go back for another one when he'd calmed down. I wasn't about to stop him either because he was the biggest pill that night! If a sucker was going to make him happy and keep him from squealing for 5 minutes, then by all means, have another sucker! I'll post more pictures of the day later, but I am just too tired and lazy to organize a big ol' post right now.
I can relate with finding the black pants! Those were the same colors for my sister-in-law's wedding back in April. I had to order a little suit for pal and dye the blue shirt white since I couldn't find a good white one. And talk about finding Viv a dress to match. I had to order from 3 different stores to get the whole ensemble. Then she decides to play in the mud, within the first 10 minutes at the reception, and get her new white shoes dirty. Such a fun time with kids! :) Glad the suckers were entertaining!
