My birthday boy
I wanted to do something special with my birthday boy in the afternoon so I took him to Cutsie Cakes in Layton and got him a big ol' cupcake. Plus, I really wanted to try one of those fancy shmancy cupcakes that are the buzz right now.
Rowan enjoyed some frosting and called it good. I ate the rest of his and gave that yummy chocolate peanut butter one to the handyman. Kind of me, I know.
It was good, but very sweet.
I loved the dress-up pictures from last year's party so much that I did it again this year.

Of course Rowan refused to wear any dress-up clothes, or look at the camera for that matter.
The crazy party guests who were willing to play along!
Again, no fancy shmancy homemade cake. I stink! I took the easy route again with cupcakes and store bought frosting. The sprinkles came with the frosting. Sweet.

Rowan got spoiled. He got lots of Toy Story toys- including a 3 wheeler and a big Buzz, books, trains, cars, and well, I think that about covers it. Needless to say, he is in heaven. Thank you all for making my little guy's second birthday so great.

Can you believe he's 2? I'm all for the easy cupcakes! I think they look cuter than a cake any day!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a ham! Those pics are priceless with that grin with his Buzz and his bike!!!! Seriously fancy cakes are so overrated......maybe because I stink at the attempt of making "cool" cakes, so cupcakes are always a score in my book! hehe
ReplyDeleteIt was a blast to be there even if it was after his party for me!! I still got to participate with the clowing around!!
ReplyDeleteAND now I couldn't have a cupcake if I wanted one!! Arghhhhhhhh ...... It's ALL GOOD!!
