Making a garden.

We decided to finally make it happen this year.  We're going to plant a garden.  The first year we were in the house, we moved in late summer, so it was too late to give it a go, so this was the year.  Jon wanted to do a square foot garden, so a couple weeks ago he went out and bought the wood, and for the past couple of weekends he's been building it and getting it ready for seeds.

 All built and ready to be moved to its final location.  First I had to weed all that lovely ground in the background.

Ok.  Ready.  Set.  Go.  

Hopefully we'll be planting next month and harvesting yummy goodness a short while after that.  It's not a huge garden, so we just plan on planting the stuff we use a lot of, i.e. tomatoes, zucchini, herbs, and a couple other things.  I am really looking forward to being able to step outside my back door to "shop" for yummy stuff for our week night dinners.  Wish us luck!
