First we got mani-pedis. I went with a shellac manicure (my first!) and the girls got pedicures. I do however want to get a pedicure before I go into the hospital to have the baby.
If I could afford it, I would love to do this every month. It's not in the budget right now, but maybe in the future! Any kind of pampering is my kind of GNO!
I have had my nails done before. Mostly fake nails back in the day for dances, and of course my wedding. I went with a shellac manicure and I love it! It's suppose to be really durable, which is good considering all the projects I will be finishing up in the next two months.
I wanted to go to Ikea and see if they had some frames that I knew they had sold at one point, but unfortunately they don't anymore. I was starving by this point and asked the girls if they wanted to grab lunch at Ikea. To my surprise, they had both eaten there before and loved it-specifically, the meatballs. Who knew Ikea was such a popular place for a meal!

It was fun morning. We all enjoyed our fancy nails. The meatballs were good, and the price was better, $5.99 for 15 meatballs. We're hoping to get together one more time for a girl's weekend before I have the baby.
So glad you had a goog time with the girls! Are the boys home and how did it go?
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun Heather. I hope you are doing well! -Tamsen
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day for you! I have never had a regular manicure. I need to try it sometime. And Ikea is one of my favorite places. It just makes me happy. It would make me happier if I had any money, though. :)
