Happy Birthday to me!
I decided to buy myself a little something for my birthday. I don't feel too guilty about it considering it was under $20. And Nordstrom doesn't charge for shipping, so that is pretty awesome. Looking forward to my new chunky watch. Want one too? Go here.30 came and went with nothing much to report. Jon had to work all day and was at school all night. Rowan and I saw him briefly when we met up for lunch (Subway) and when he came home briefly for dinner (sweet potato lasagna) before heading out the door again. Rowan and I ran some errands in the morning, napped in the afternoon, bowled in the evening, and potty trained all day. No cake, no candles, just some bites of Rowan's ice-cream cone. I did get many well wishes, calls, and a card from my mom and little brother. Jon and I might try to celebrate later this week with dinner and a movie, but if we don't get around to it, whatever. Yep, so that is how I said goodbye to my 20's and hello to my 30's. Hopefully they treat me well!

Not a BIG "Out with the 20's and in with the 30's but hopefully you can have a BIG shindig this weekend. I wish I'd been there to take you shopping or something. Hope you can use the gift card for something fun. I love you "Baby Girl"

Happy birthday! I hope Jon does do something fun for you this weekend. The best present will be the little bundle you get to bring home in less than 2 months!!!
ReplyDeleteGah! I am such a bad friend! I forgot. Again. Sigh. I really need to get better at this. At any rate, I am glad it was a decent day for you. We need to go out, my treat. Let me know when works for you, okay?
