I have no idea what's up with Rowan's crazy expression.
Megan and Patrick met up with us a short while later.
The show begins!
It didn't take long for Rowan to cover his ears and say, "Go home!"
Jon helped him out, but he still wasn't sure about it. He isn't a fan of loud noises. He eventually mellowed out when I gave him my camera and he watched the fireworks on that. Must have distracted him from the noise. Pretty good show all in all. I had to pee so bad by the time it ended I was worried I wouldn't make it back to the car/house in time! Thank you pregnancy. And my apologies if you ever hear my son say firework/s cause it sometimes comes out sounding like a curse word.
the fireworks was for Pleasant View's Founder's Day celebration. All the towns around here have fireworks to celebrate their founding and they all seem to be around this time of year. Just FYI.
ReplyDeleteWe had fireworks tonight for THE GOD AND COUNTRY RALLY so it happens for all kinds of reasons this time of year. lol I love the expression on Rowan's face in that picture! hilarious! Glad he was distracted with the camera. FUN fun fun!
