My friend gave us a coupon for a free hayride and pumpkin(s) at J&J's Nursery, so two weekends ago we went out as a family for some October fun. We brought our four cans of food, and just like that we were off. It wasn't a super long hayride, just back through the J&J Property and to the pumpkin patch. Both of the boys got to pick a pumpkin. Rowan was tickled pink, and Sawyer just wanted to play in the dirt.
Seriously, can I not get one picture with my boys where they are both looking at the camera?
Jon was snapping to get the boys attention, and so Rowan began to mimic him.
Rowan just went for the first pumpkin he saw, which wasn't much to look at. So I helped him find a better looking one with a better shape.
After
Course I had to get pictures of the boys while we were out there.
Oh, I see how it is. The boys will look at the camera when they're getting a picture with daddy....
well, sometimes at least.
It's like Rowan and Sawyer have a pact. When I look, you don't look. When you look, I don't look. It'll drive mom and dad crazy!
They let Rowan hop on the tractor when we got back to the parking lot. Not that that is that cool since he gets to get on grandpa's tractor whenever he wants.
After we went to J&J's we headed to Black Island Farms. We hadn't planned on going that night, Jon just wanted to check it out. After seeing the prices we didn't plan on going back another night either. It was pretty crowded anyways, and we know how much Rowan loves crowds and waiting in line, so we just got a family picture, and took off. Next up, pizza. It was a fun night as a family.
I loved the pictures!! The boys are adorable whether they look at the camera or not!! Good deal for you getting to the hayride and all!! I'm sure the boys loved it!! Can't wait to see their Halloween pictures!!

ReplyDeleteBlack island farms is so much fun once you get in. We typically try to go early in the month and on a Saturday. That way we have all day to play there. Try again next year, early in the month. It is so much less crowded then.
