Sawyer smashes a cake

So at the monthly family dinner in August Sawyer finally got to smash the living daylights out of a cake.  He was given a cupcake on his birthday, which he demolished before I could even get the liner off of it.  So yes, he made us all proud by smashing his baked good(s) not once, but twice. 

Aunt Megan was kind enough to make him his own little cake, and she couldn't have been more pleased to see him destroy it.

Sawyer takes his cake smashing very seriously.  He came out conqueror. 

I love these photos.  It's like he's say, "Did I just do that?!"  "Yes, yes I did."

And then he got presents, which his brother quickly began playing with.

We love this little dude. 

All that cake smashing and present opening wore him out.  Time to re energize with a bottle and a willing baby holder.

So yes, my baby is 1- well, 14 months now since I am slacker and didn't post about it two months ago.  That year went by incredibly fast, but it was a great year and we love having this cute boy in our family.
