a tale about the wild wild west

This here's me and my man.
But I started to get sweet on Mr. Bones.
My husband didn't like that much, so he decided to get back at me he'd start teaching the baby how to use a gun.
Well, I didn't like that much, so I tried to kill him. OK, maybe just hurt him a bit.
Well, our foolish behavior got us behind bars for disturbing the peace.
Now we are in the crapper.

Long story short: you have to be a...
to survive Tombstone, AZ

Princesses, superheros, & furry things

Are you getting sick of vacation pictures yet? Hey, give me a break, I am trying to spread them all out over a few days and a few posts. I'll get back to my regular blogging soon, for now bare with me. The following are character themed pictures.
I'm sure when Rowan is 16 he'll be thrilled that I took him to meet the princesses. These princesses were good, I have to admit, they were all sugar and spice.

Belle & Aurora.

Doc & Jon - Doc from Back to the Future, and if you did not know that I am really sad. Jon with his mom, sister, Homer and Marge.

Me & Wolverine. And this other dude I just felt sorry for, so I took a picture with him cause no one else was.

Finally Rowan was awake for some more characters so we took advantage of it and he met Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and Donald.

Here we are with Captain America and Pluto. I think Jon wishes he could work in a park and wear spandex. Dream on honey, dream on.

On Thursday we parted ways with some of our group and hit Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. There were some great rides. The Hulk ride was awesome, a little jerky, but it was rad. The Dueling Dragons were fun until Carol and Jon got sick. Oh I was so bummed when we got over to the Universal side because the Jaw's ride was closed and so was the backlot! I love the backlot tour, it is really one of my favorite things, so that was a bum deal.

More Vacation

Here are a lot of random pictures from the trip.

Carol, me, & Megan about to enter Jurassic Park. Me & my prince.

Jon seems excited that my head is in the mouth of Jaws. Rowan was in his stroller a lot, but he looked styling!

Here I am at Islands of Adventure. The t-rex was about to eat Megan & me.

Our family shot in front of the Magic Kingdom castle. Jon, baby, & Samantha playing a little air guitar in front of the big electric guitar at the Aerosmith ride- one of my favorite rides!

I love this shot of Jon & Rowan on the carousel. Jon posing with the Epcot globe in the background. Yes, he selected that pose.

Highlights from Epcot:
- Jon & I ate HUGE turkey legs- they were really good, but very greasy!
- I ate in Germany. I had a bratwurst and sauerkraut. Yummy!
- The funnel cake.
- Catherine Zeta Jones & Michael Douglas were in Epcot the same day we were. I guess they rode the "Test Track" shortly before we did. Of course they got the royal treatment- special entrances and exits.
- Lots of neat rides
- The fireworks, IlluniNations: Reflections of Earth, at the end of the night put Rowan in a trance.

See Sea World

Two words. Loved it.
Daddy & Rowan after the Shamu show.

All the shows were great & entertaining.
The soak zone getting soaked & Shamu
(or whoever this perpetrator is, cause isn't the original Shamu dead?)

Sea World was great.

It was our last stop before heading home and I think we all loved it. The weather was great, the shows were fun & funny, the two adult rides were joyous (mostly because we didn't have to wait in line), and best of all the park was not that crowded.

I saw many a short shorts while in Florida, however, it was while I was at Sea World that I actually witnessed butt cheeks, or cheek, cause I only saw one.

No kidding.

I was walking along and looked over and there it was. The butt cheek.

The young girl had shorts on, but they were short and made of a material that did not conform to the buttox. Therefore, I saw her cheek, and so did Jon.

I made him look.

I had to.

I had to have him witness what I could not believe. How can you feel comfortable in shorts that are showing off your derriere? I saw many outfits that boggled my mind, but none surpassed the butt cheek flashing.

I would definitely visit Sea World again, but watch out for the birds. They do poo on you. Don't believe me? Go here for the proof.
