Baby Heartbeat
I had my second doctor's appt. today. It was really exciting because Jon and I were able to hear the baby's heartbeat! Jonathan was surprised at how loud it was. He thought he was going to have to really listen for it, but it was good and loud. In another two months we will get to find out the sex of the baby- early May. I am healthy and gained 2 lbs since my last appointment, so I am on track for being a big healthy momma.

Wow!!!..can you hear the heartbeat already!!!???...that is so exciting!....have you guys tought of any names?
ReplyDeleteOh, yay!!! Isn't it just wonderful hearing their little heart beating??? I'm so happy for you guys!!! Congrats on only gaining 2#, too - unlike with Nephi, I've been STARVING for weeks (when I'm not feeling icky, of course), but the scale is noticing, too. Do they have you scheduled for like, a million little "checkup point" appointments? Hope things are going smoothly - and that you've been getting through with the morning sickness! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been so hard for me not to say anything before now!!! Theoretically, we'll be listening this Friday...it might still be a little early (but hey, it's just yet another copay for a too-early dr. appt., right??? *sigh*), but anyway... I've got my fingers crossed :-). His/her little heartbeat was nice & strong at the ultrasound to ascertain his/her age, so we might be lucky. With any luck, though, we might be able to reschedule for just another week or two out, since I"m not worried... anyway, time to end this comment, but hope you're feeling great, and congrats again on hearing Little One's adorable little heartbeat!!! :-)
OH Heather how exciting! I'm so happy for you, it sounds like it's such a cool experience :) Well I can't wait to see you in almost a week!

ReplyDeletelistening to the heartbeat for the first time is the best. It totally confirms everything that youve experienced so far. Youre like, okay all my tiredness, being sick and "other problems" are because of this wonderful little baby growing inside me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way,....this is horrible, I do not have very many prego pictures with Valerie. BUT I do have some great ones at the hospital. so once I learn how to scan (or actually sit my butt down to do it b/c I hear its way easy) Ill scan them in and put them on. Dont worry Heather I wont let you down.
I cant wait to hear what gender your little peanut is. :)
I'm glad to hear that little Julian is doing well inside your belly. Good luck with all the job searching and stuff. Keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteWasn't that so awesome?? We were on cloud nine the first time we heard Owen's little heartbeat. It made the whole pregnancy thing a little more believeable!
