Chilaxin'

the hubs giving Rowan a back rub.
Sorry no Halloween pictures for you. I couldn't justify buying Rowan a costume when he had nowhere to go in it. Our ward didn't even have a trunk or treat! However, had I succumbed and bought a costume it would have been this chili pepper:
I just thought it was cute- the hubs and I got a good kick out of it. Who knows maybe Rowan will be shuffling around as a chili pepper in 2009! SO Halloween this year is pretty relaxed and uneventful. I think we will be strolling (definition of strolling: putting baby in car seat, putting car seat on stroller, and pushing it to the store) to the grocery store for a bag of goodies and a rented movie from Red Box. Or I may just curl up in bed with my new book (I've had if for close to a week now and have yet to start it) and designate the hubs babysitter for the night! Happy Halloween everyone- I hope your next dentist's bill doesn't break the bank.

  1. Oh man, Rowan could totally rock that chili pepper costume. I didn't dress Scotlyn up. She wore a cute little outfit Verne got her. So sweet!

  3. Jar and I always massaged Vals back/body too. and its really good to do it around the joints of the body because it lets the baby know that there is something there, "oh this moves...." kind of thing (info came from a physical therapist). But now, Valerie cant not stop wanting massages....she LOVES them. :)
Yah, ummmmm, Jon are you telling us something? Are you trying to be a male model with your elbow up in the air and your head turned just so........orrrrrr...... do you just need a shower. I know how it is having a newborn, its rough, sometimes we dont always get a wash in when we want to......or NEED to.
    I love baby halloween costumes!

  5. Ooh! Baby massage! My sis does that, but I never learned... maybe Kiddo wouldn't be so uptight... ;-)

I totally love those bunting-style baby costumes, too - I think my favorite was a pea pod, but Kiddo was never the right age for it, LOL...
