Rowan is slowly moving into his bedroom. He naps in his crib during the day and sleeps in it at night
IF he has fallen asleep in his
car seat- I just set the
car seat in the crib and he sleeps really well. In fact, last night he slept from 1:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. this morning. I woke myself up a couple times because I was worried about him and had to check on him- he was snoring away. So I have finally gotten around to the finishing touches in his room: mobile,
etsy prints, and chair.
Here is my modge podge project on display. I might keep it here- but I was thinking about getting some Velcro and putting it on the wall above Rowan's closet. It may take me awhile to get around to it though- that seems to be the trend these days- think about something and get it done a couple weeks or a couple months later. (and yes, I still need to switch out the pictures in the frame- out with the old (wedding pics) and in with the new (baby pics)).

Etsy from the
Orange Willow shop. Go to her shop now- buy 2 and get the 3rd free! Our order came a little late (she eloped!) so she sent us the elephant print free too. So I got a really sweet deal- buy 2 get 2 free. They match Rowan's room perfectly. Love them.
Here is my sweet new chair & pillow from
Ikea. Originally we had purchased a glider from Walmart- it broke as you recall, so this is what we replaced it with. I'm glad the other one broke because I really like this one.
This is definitely my favorite room in the house! Rowan isn't old enough to appreciate it now, but I hope he likes it when he's older.

love the crib bedding. i did letters for drew (that i bought before he was born but didn't actually do until he was one) that i intended on putting on the wall, but left on his shelf too. too much work.

ReplyDeleteHow adorabley mod! Its important to have a good vibe in the babe's room. the feng shui can influence their sleeping! I just barely got pictures up in Kendal's room, and finally made the curtains... and she is 1! So I'd say you're still ahead of the game, my game at least.
