OK, so their first introduction wasn't great.
I know Rowan doesn't need rice cereal or baby mush yet, but when the doctor gave me the go ahead to try some food I was excited, so I did. Seems he isn't a fan. So, for now we will stick to the milk and try again in a month or two.

WOW! Those blue eyes! He is adorable! He's plenty chuncky without the rice cereal so guess it doesn't matter if he's into it yet. I can't wait to see 12 comparable pic's with the stuffed animals. I have 3 of them so far, are there more???
ReplyDeleteOh I love this idea. I might have to copy it later! The first time with cereal always makes for some good laughs. Then before you know it he will be willingly opening up for it. Crazy! Can't believe they're almost 5 months! wow
ReplyDeleteaidan wasn't a fan either, so i tried oatmeal -- that was a little better. then i added some bananas into it, now he will eat it willingly. he also loves loves his green beans.
ReplyDeleteOhhhh how cute!
ReplyDeletewhere do you get these creative ideas??? that is simply adorable. the baby food stage is never a pleasant one in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteHehehe. cute face and gummy open mouth!
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! Of course I remember you and I have been keeping up with your blog since you were pregnant with Rowan. He is so adorable! Yeah number 4 is almost here but I just can't get enough of the sweet things! I think my husband is hoping that I will be satisfied soon but are going to work towards 7! Sounds a little scary:o)It was wonderful to hear from you!!
ReplyDeleteIntroducing solid food is hard. I mean, who wouldn't want to eat mushy peas? Hope it gets better for you.
ReplyDeletemy humble opinion is, he'll hate it at first. keep on trying, but if you wait until he's six months, a lot of babies won't go for it when they're too old. just keep spooning it back in his mouth. after a week, it'll be all good.
